What the Customers Say

AirBnB – “Great stay, no complaints whatsoever. Lovely house, quality finishes inside and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was fantastic. The location is great being a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Would definitely recommend.”

Sykes Cottages – “The hot tub was a wonderful added extra and really made the holiday for us, after long days of walking, a relaxing time in the hot tub was well needed. The property was a 5 minute walk to the town centre which was perfect. The property itself was wonderful, very spacious, very homely. Everywhere was very very clean. Would 100% recommend the property and would definitely stay here again. Thank you! 5 stars!”

Trip Advisor – “Perfect place to stay in Keswick. Just a five minute walk from the town centre, this fabulous place overlook the river. It’s got everything you can think you need, and then some. Loved the kitchen! And the hot tub! The bedrooms were all en-suite and for an old house it was really quiet. We loved it and will be back.”

What the Owners Say

Greta Mill is the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time with families and groups of friends in the beautiful market town of Keswick surrounded by the northern fells with easy access to explore the Lake District. The house is well situated to be a 5 minute stroll into the town centre whilst providing views over Fitz Park, the gentle slopes of Skiddaw and Latrigg. There are a host of walking opportunities on the doorstep. There is very easy access from A66 and the M6.

The mill was built circa 1850, becoming a home for a local family from the late 1950s before being renovated in 2012. We became the proud owners of Greta Mill in 2014. Our home offers a combination of traditional and modern features, with much welcome space to enjoy. All rooms have central heating. The private paved court yard includes a Hot tub if you wish to treat yourselves to an extra dash of luxury.
