Surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in the whole of England, this fabulous, semi-detached cottage is attached to the owner’s home on their traditional hill farm in the tiny hamlet of Stonethwaite, near to Rosthwaite in the beautiful Lake District. With the views forever changing, this spectacular location, ideal for a family holiday, will weave its magic into your heart and leave you yearning to get back to this truly special cottage.
On the ground floor of this lovely cottage are a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a cosy sitting room with an open fire, where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink. There are also four comfortable bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom.
At the rear of the cottage is a garden area where you can sit and relax, whilst at the front you can watch the farmer busy at work in the farmyard, no doubt accompanied by his faithful sheepdogs. Just around the corner is an excellent country inn serving delicious food and a little further away, in the charming village of Rosthwaite, is a shop, tea room and pub.
