What the Owners Say
Stockwell Hall Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage which we have converted from an 18th century Grade II listed barn in a sympathetic way to combine its original character and charm with relaxing comfort. It is located on the edge of the Caldbeck fells on the northern boundary of the Lake District, an ideal situation to suit many different types of break at any time of year, including winter breaks.
The cottage has been converted to the highest standards with special care and attention for detail. It is spacious and well equipped with many of the furnishings from Laura Ashley. Set in the pleasant surroundings of a small holding you have the opportunity to see the animals and wildlife close up and gives you the space to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. The cottage has been awarded the highest rating of 5 star Gold Award by VisitBritain.
